Residents Return Home After Wildfire Evacuation in Canada

Thousands of residents in Canada's Northwest Territories are returning home after a three-week evacuation order due to wildfires. The order was lifted as firefighters managed to keep the flames at bay. Commercial flights have resumed and a checkpoint on the highway has been lifted. However, the city of Yellowknife will look different as fire breaks have been installed to protect it from future wildfires. While some areas are still affected by fires, the territory-wide state of emergency has been extended.
