Cyclone Mocha hit Bangladesh and Myanmar, causing at least five deaths and half a million evacuations. The world's largest refugee camp, Cox's Bazar, was badly hit, with over 1,300 shelters destroyed. Meanwhile, a heatwave is expected in parts of the Pacific Northwest and western half of Canada, while eastern Canada will feel about 10C below average. Storm activity will ease in the US plains after tornadoes battered some states.
