Indian Climber Rescued After 4 Days on Mount Annapurna

A small group of climbers, including Adam Bielecki and Mariusz Hatala, successfully rescued Indian climber Anurag Maloo from a crevasse on Annapurna after he fell during his summit push. Maloo was airlifted to a hospital in Kathmandu and remains in critical condition. The rescue effort was coordinated by Seven Summit Treks and involved risky rappelling and helicopter operations. Maloo's family, the Nepalese and Indian governments, and the insurance company all played a role in the rescue. The rescue team called it a "one-in-a-million rescue" and a "miracle."
