Lukashenko's Influence Over Russian Nuclear Weapons in Belarus

The presence of Russian nuclear warheads in Belarus is currently unlikely, according to Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He stated that creating the necessary conditions for storage and maintenance of nuclear munitions is a complex process. However, he also warned of the threat of using nuclear weapons against Ukraine, emphasizing the need to remain vigilant against an enemy that disregards international law. This comes after the defense ministers of Russia and Belarus signed documents on the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, with the first batch reportedly delivered in June.
