The Ukrainian army's armored assault on Russian positions in southern Ukraine failed, resulting in the loss of at least one Leopard 2A6 tank, an IMR-2 engineering vehicle, and up to nine Bradley fighting vehicles. The assault was aimed at breaching prepared enemy fortifications, but the dense minefield and Russian helicopters or artillery interrupted their efforts.
