"Putin Boosts Russian Navy with 30 New Ships in Show of Strength"

Russian President Vladimir Putin reviewed a parade of warships and submarines in St Petersburg, announcing that the Russian Navy will receive 30 new ships this year. The Navy Day event showcased 45 ships and submarines, with around 3,000 navy personnel participating in a parade on land. Putin emphasized Russia's commitment to building up the strength of its Navy and implementing its national maritime policy. The event was attended by four African heads of state and representatives from five other African countries, following a Russia-Africa summit in St Petersburg.
