US First Lady Jill Biden inspected a cheese and pickle sandwich served to her by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Downing Street's Big Lunch coronation street party. The celebration is among the thousands of street parties being held across the UK to mark the coronation of King Charles III. The event saw guests tucking into dishes including coronation quiches, coronation chicken, sausage rolls and smoked salmon. The crockery was donated by Emma Bridgewater, a pottery with strong royal connections. Buckingham Palace revealed the King and Queen were 'deeply touched' by the nation's celebration of their historic coronation.
