Marine's Family to Reopen Lawsuit Against Alec Baldwin

The family of Marine Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, who was killed in Afghanistan, plans to refile a lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin after a federal judge dismissed the original lawsuit but invited them to rewrite and resubmit it. The lawsuit accuses Baldwin of subjecting the family to online threats and harassment after he commented on a photo shared by one of McCollum's sisters. The judge set a deadline of September 12 for the family to renew their allegations of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Baldwin had donated $5,000 to the family after learning of McCollum's death.
