American YouTuber YourFellowArab Kidnapped in Haiti While Pursuing Gang Leader Interview

American YouTuber YourFellowArab, known as Addison Pierre Maalouf, has been kidnapped in Haiti while attempting to interview a notorious gang leader, Jimmy "Barbecue" Cherizier. Held for a $600,000 ransom by the 400 Mawozo gang, Maalouf's colleague was also taken, and despite some payment, the kidnappers continue to demand a large sum for his release. Fellow YouTubers have confirmed the kidnapping and criticized the US government for not doing enough to secure Maalouf's release, while the State Department has urged US citizens not to travel to Haiti.
