Ukrainian children's safety threatened by Russia's military education camps and war bombings.

Russia is accused of intensifying its propaganda campaign by sending Ukrainian children to "military patriotic education" camps in Crimea, according to Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister. Parents who do not "volunteer" to send their children to these camps are threatened by occupying Russian administrative officials, and soon all schoolchildren will be sent to these camps by force. A report released in February by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab found that some 6,000 Ukrainian children were forced to attend "re-education camps" following Russia’s February 2022 invasion, with at least 43 of these facilities found in Russia and Crimea.
