SDF conducts evacuation of Japanese citizens from conflict-stricken Sudan.

Japan has initiated the evacuation of its citizens from Sudan due to the ongoing conflict in the country. The government will send Self-Defense Forces personnel to evacuate approximately 60 Japanese nationals, including NGO personnel, embassy staff, and JICA employees. The citizens are safe but lack food and water due to frequent electrical blackouts.
