Russian Documentarian Flees Country After Exposing Wagner Cemetery

Russian activist Vitaly Votanovsky, who documented the burials of Wagner mercenaries killed in Ukraine, has fled Russia after receiving numerous death threats. Votanovsky was the first person to discover the Wagner cemetery in the small village of Bakinskaya in Krasnodar Region, where the notoriously brutal mercenary group buries many of its dead from Ukraine. He has documented over 1,300 names of the dead from the Krasnodar Region only. Votanovsky escaped to Armenia and now plans to request political asylum in Germany.
