Occupied Ukraine: Explosions Target Top Putin-Appointed Officials.

A grenade attack at a barber shop in occupied Luhansk region of Ukraine has left a top policeman appointed by Vladimir Putin severely wounded. Maj-Gen Igor Kornet, 50, was one of three hospitalised in a grave condition after a huge explosion, that reports said had also killed one unnamed civilian. Kornet is acting interior minister in Luhansk People's Republic, which the Russian president has declared annexed, and claims as part of Russia. He is also understood to be a friend of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner mercenary group.
