Khalistan supporters' violent attempts thwarted by US authorities.

A PTI journalist was physically assaulted and verbally intimidated by Khalistan supporters protesting outside the Indian Embassy in Washington DC. The Indian mission condemned the attack and thanked the US Secret Service and local police for their prompt response. The protesters obstructed the journalist, threatened him, and placed the Khalistan flag on his face. The journalist called 911 and ran towards the other side of the road for safety. Indian-American Congressman Ro Khanna condemned the attack and thanked the security for protecting the journalist and diplomats.
