Mia Schem, a French-Israeli woman who was abducted from the Supernova music festival in Israel and appeared in a Hamas hostage video, has been released along with seven other hostages. Schem, who was shown in the video with an injured arm, asked to be returned to her family. Her mother, who had campaigned for her release, expressed relief and gratitude upon hearing the news. The family requested privacy as Schem receives medical treatment before going home. French President Emmanuel Macron shared his joy at her release. Another hostage, Amit Soussana, was also released, while six more hostages were freed later that night.
