"British 'Danger Tourist' and Two Others Held by Taliban in Afghanistan"

Three British nationals, including a paramedic and a former Loughborough University student, are being held in custody by the Taliban in Afghanistan. The Presidium Network, a UK-based non-profit organisation, is representing two of the men, who were arrested on different dates. The third man was evacuated from Afghanistan by the British Armed Forces in August 2021. While there are no official charges, the detention of the two men is understood to be over a weapon in a safe in the paramedic's room. The Foreign Office said it was working hard to contact the men.
