"Russian Drone Attacks Devastate Ukrainian Infrastructure"

Russian forces launched a major drone attack on Ukrainian infrastructure facilities in the south and north of the country, with Ukrainian air defense shooting down 29 out of 38 drones. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine and stated that he will speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The UK Ministry of Defense reported that neither Ukraine nor Russia are making substantial progress in their war aims. Ukrainian forces are engaged in heavy fighting on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River after conducting successful operations to establish and secure footholds in Russian-controlled territory. Russia has placed a former senior banker on its wanted list for criticizing Russia's war in Ukraine.
