70 UN Ambassadors in Geneva issued a joint call for immediate international action to end the bloodshed and suffering in Gaza, where over 11,000 Palestinians have been killed and 26,000 injured in just one month of conflict. They highlighted the dire situation in Gaza's hospitals, the targeting of civilian infrastructure, and the killing of aid workers. The Ambassadors called for an immediate ceasefire, emergency humanitarian access, and the restoration of basic services. They also demanded the release of hostages and political detainees, the protection of civilians and civilian facilities, and the investigation of the situation by the Independent International UN Commission of Inquiry.
