Turkish Lawmaker's Heart Attack Follows Controversial Israel Remarks

Turkish lawmaker Hasan Bitmez suffered a heart attack and collapsed in Parliament after declaring that Israel will "not be able to escape the wrath of God." Bitmez was delivering a speech on the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when he fainted and fell to the ground. He received first aid and CPR before being taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that two main veins were completely blocked. Bitmez is currently in serious condition and connected to a heart-lung pump.
