Russian Double Agents Allegedly Killing Own for Money, Ukrainian Partisans Claim

Ukrainian partisan group, ATESH, claims that Russian soldiers are working as double agents, killing their own soldiers in exchange for money and the opportunity to live abroad. One such agent successfully carried out an attack at a Russian military base in Henichesk, Kherson Oblast, by detonating explosives placed between two trucks as troops were boarding. The growing number of Russian soldiers cooperating with Ukrainian partisans is seen as a strategic advantage for Ukraine in their efforts to take back Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014.
