Russia Evacuates Citizens and Sends Aid to Gaza Amidst Tensions

Russia has started evacuating its citizens from the besieged Gaza Strip, with nearly 600 Russian nationals awaiting evacuation. The Emergency Situations Ministry, along with Russian diplomats, has coordinated the procedure and routes for the evacuation. Over 80 Russian citizens have received Israel's approval to leave Gaza, and specialists are providing medical and psychological support to those crossing the border checkpoint. Russian nationals fleeing to Egypt through the Rafah border crossing will be sent to Cairo, where a temporary headquarters has been established for overseeing the evacuations.
