Massive Protests Erupt in Solidarity with Palestinians Amid Escalating Conflict

Thousands of people gathered in Chicago's Federal Plaza and in front of the Israeli Consulate to protest and show support for Palestinians amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The demonstrations, organized by the Chicago Coalition for Justice in Palestine, condemned the increasing casualties and called for Palestinian sovereignty. The death toll in Gaza has risen to over 500, with an additional 1,200 people believed to be buried under rubble.
