Global Demonstrations Demand Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza

Tens of thousands of people rallied in cities around the world, including Washington, DC; London; Paris; Berlin; Milan; and Dhaka, demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Protests were also held in Turkey, where supporters headed to a US military base, coinciding with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit. The demonstrations come as the death toll in Gaza rises, with over 9,400 Palestinians killed since the conflict began. In London, protesters blocked streets and gathered in Trafalgar Square, while in Paris, thousands called for an end to the cycle of violence. Berlin saw a demonstration of 6,500 people, and Milan had around 4,000 protesters. Demonstrations also took place in Senegal and the United States, with tens of thousands rallying in Washington, DC.
