Foreigners in Israel: A Grim Tally of Lives Lost, Missing, and Abducted

Dozens of foreigners, including nationals from Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Tanzania, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States, have been reported killed, missing, or taken hostage following the surprise attack on Israel by Hamas fighters. The number of casualties and missing individuals from each country varies, with the US confirming the deaths of at least 11 American citizens and President Joe Biden stating that it is likely that their nationals are among the hostages being held by Hamas.
