American Family Trapped in Gaza: Forgotten by Their Government

A Palestinian American family from Massachusetts, trapped in Gaza amidst intensifying air strikes and the threat of a ground invasion by Israeli military forces, feels abandoned by their government. Despite attempting to cross the border three times following instructions from the U.S. State Department, they were turned away each time. The family is running out of food, water, and supplies, including medicine for their son. They fear the situation will only worsen as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares for a ground incursion. Family friend Sammy Nabulsi has reached out to various government officials on their behalf but has received little assistance. The family remains hopeful for help and is grateful for the support they have received.
