Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new airport and a revamped railway station in Ayodhya, ahead of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony. The airport, developed at over Rs 1,450 crore, is designed to handle a million passengers annually and features murals of the Ramayana. The railway station, now called Ayodhya Dham, has been redeveloped with a traditional facade and modern amenities at Rs 240 crore. Modi also flagged off new Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, enhancing connectivity. The visit showcased a series of development projects in Ayodhya totaling over Rs 11,000 crore.
