"UN: 17,000 Gaza Children Unaccompanied in Israel's War"

UNICEF estimates that at least 17,000 children in Gaza have been left unaccompanied or separated from their families amid Israel's assault, with over one million children in need of mental health support. The mental health of children in Gaza has been severely affected, with nearly all children requiring such support. Israeli attacks have killed more than 11,500 children, and with families forced to flee their homes multiple times, many are now crammed in the southern Rafah governorate, facing communication blackouts and a severe lack of medical supplies. UNICEF is calling for a ceasefire to properly assess and support the unaccompanied and separated children in Gaza.
