Ukrainian soldiers find refuge at Lakeshore.

Two Ukrainian soldiers who lost limbs in combat have been hosted by the Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham, Alabama, as part of a programme to provide medical care and rehabilitation to injured soldiers. The soldiers have undergone rigorous workouts as part of Lakeshore’s fitness, recreation and sports programs, including kayaking and basketball. The charitable organisation Revive Soldiers Ukraine has worked with US medical organisations to obtain care for injured soldiers.
