Sailor's Tearful Farewell to Beloved Dog After Months at Sea

Australian sailor Tim Shaddock, who spent three months adrift in the Pacific Ocean with his dog Bella, has rehomed her in Mexico after being rescued. Shaddock survived on raw fish and rainwater before being spotted by a helicopter and rescued by a tuna fishing boat. Bella, who had been with him throughout the ordeal, was left in Mexico with a crew member who promised to give her a loving home. Shaddock expressed gratitude to the captain and fishing company for saving his life.
