Sailor's Tearful Farewell to Beloved Dog After Months at Sea

Australian sailor Tim Shaddock, who spent three months adrift in the Pacific Ocean with his dog Bella, has rehomed her after being rescued. Shaddock decided to leave Bella in Mexico with a crew member from the rescue boat who promised to give her a happy home. Shaddock survived by eating raw fish and collecting rainwater before being spotted by a helicopter and rescued by a tuna fishing boat. He expressed gratitude to the captain and fishing company for saving his life.
