Miraculous Survival: Colombian Children Rescued After 40 Days in Amazon Released from Hospital

Four indigenous children who survived a plane crash in the Colombian Amazon have been released from the hospital after a month of treatment. The siblings, aged 1 to 13, were the only survivors of the crash that killed their mother and two other adults. Despite spending 40 days in the jungle, the children showed no physical effects and were praised for their knowledge of the forest and Lesly's courage. The Family Welfare Institute will temporarily take custody of the children due to a custody dispute between the two younger children's father and their maternal grandparents.
