Fighting for Ukraine: One Citizen's Call to Action

Ruslana Danilkina, an 18-year-old Ukrainian volunteer fighter, lost her leg in a combat mission against Russia in February 2023. She has undergone five surgeries so far and is preparing to receive a prosthetic leg. Ruslana wants to motivate others who have also been injured in war not to lose faith and show that everything is possible. She dreams of returning to ice skating and having a bicycle, and wants to pursue her dreams despite losing a leg.
