Alex Batty, a British teenager who went missing at age 11 during a family holiday in Spain, has been found in France after a six-year odyssey through Morocco, Spain, and southwest France. Living an off-the-grid life with his mother and grandfather, Batty decided to end his roaming and parted ways with his mother. He was discovered by a delivery driver walking alone in the rain and was subsequently reunited with his grandmother in the UK. Batty had been living in a "spiritual community" and expressed a desire for a future beyond his nomadic lifestyle.
