Amir Menendez, a 14-year-old American boy, has broken the Guinness World Record for the largest afro on a living teenager and man in the world. His afro measures 7.74 inches tall, 9.77 inches wide, and 7.33 feet in circumference. This comes after a Louisiana woman, Aevin Dugas, set the record for the largest afro on a living person for the third time last year. Amir began growing his hair out at the age of 11.5 and loves how unique his hair is. The 2024 Guinness World Record Book features various other record holders, including the tallest steer, oldest competitive ninja athlete, and largest collection of Care Bears memorabilia.
