Good Samaritan dupes scammer twice with clever email response.

Ben Taylor, who befriended a suspected scammer from Liberia in 2018, has made good again by helping a woman in Cameroon who was written off as a scammer. Taylor flew to see the woman, Chikaordery, and showed her a new book he wrote, whose sales would pay for her operation. Chikaordery had a botched surgery as a child that left her with intermittent but excruciating stomach pain. Taylor previously made a booklet about his Liberian friend's life, which was sold online, and even traveled to visit him.
