"Far-right Polish MP's Shocking Act: Dousing Jewish Menorah with Fire Extinguisher"

Grzegorz Braun, an antisemitic lawmaker from the right-wing Confederation party, doused the candles in a Hanukkah menorah in the Polish parliament with a fire extinguisher, denouncing the Jewish ritual as "Satanic." He was kicked out of the parliamentary session and the incident will be investigated by the prosecutor's office. The U.S. ambassador to Poland and Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś condemned the act, while even Braun's party colleagues disavowed him. This is not the first time Braun has displayed antisemitic behavior.
