"Hamas Attack: Israeli Report Exposes Systematic Rape and Abuse"

The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel has reported evidence of "systematic and intentional" rape and sexual abuse during the Hamas attack on Oct. 7, with attacks occurring at multiple locations across southern Israel. The report detailed severe mutilation of victims' bodies and stated that sexual assault was part of the atrocity-filled rampage by Palestinian militant group Hamas, which killed about 1,200 people and took around 250 hostages. The report, submitted to the United Nations, documented sexual and gender-based violence at a music festival, communities near the Gaza border, Israeli military bases, and places where hostages were held in Gaza, indicating organized and directed sexual violence by Hamas.
