In Lima, Peru, an undercover police officer dressed in a giant teddy bear costume and holding a box of chocolates lured out a suspected female drug dealer on Valentine's Day before arresting her with the help of other plainclothes officers from the city’s elite “Green Squadron.” The officer, still in costume, also uncovered stashes of what appeared to be heroin or a similar opioid. This unconventional sting operation follows a previous incident where an officer disguised as Santa Claus created a distraction during a drug raid.
