The Tragic Murder of Lilie James: A School Mourns

A friend of Paul Thijssen, the suspected killer of Lilie James, revealed that Thijssen knew he would be seeing his ex-girlfriend on the night of her murder as she returned sports equipment at St Andrew's Cathedral School. Thijssen, responsible for collecting and putting away sports equipment, was potentially with James when she was killed in a gym bathroom stall. Police are now investigating if the murder was premeditated. Thijssen was later seen on CCTV dumping the alleged murder weapon and called the police to alert them of the location of James's body. Friends of Thijssen expressed shock and disbelief, while close friends of James's family revealed that Thijssen couldn't accept their breakup. James's family is still struggling to understand the motive behind her murder.
