Teenage Suspect Kills Two Edmonton Police Officers on Duty.

Two police officers in Edmonton, Canada were shot and killed while responding to a domestic dispute call at an apartment complex. The suspect, a 16-year-old male, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A woman related to the suspect was also taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The officers killed were Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan, both of whom worked with the Edmonton Police Service. This incident marks the eighth time in the last six months that police officers have been killed on the line of duty in Canada.
