Pornhub Owner Settles US Sex Trafficking Probe for $1.8 Million

Aylo Holdings, the company that owns adult entertainment websites including Pornhub.com, has agreed to pay $1.8 million to the U.S. government to settle a probe into its ties with an alleged sex trafficking operation. The charge stems from Aylo's hosting of content from GirlsDoPorn.com and GirlsDoToys.com, whose creators were charged in 2019 with deceiving and coercing young women into appearing in sex videos. Aylo will also compensate victims whose images were posted on its platform. Under a deferred prosecution agreement, the charge against Aylo will be dismissed after three years if the company improves its compliance protocols.
