Naval Officers Uncover Massive Dynamite Stash in Mexican Cartel's Underground Meth Lab

Mexican marines discovered 110 pounds of dynamite in a methamphetamine laboratory operated by a drug cartel, marking the first time explosive materials were found in such a facility. The navy suspects the explosives were intended for use against law enforcement personnel and vehicles. The discovery highlights the increasing use of mines and explosive artifacts by cartels to target authorities in Mexico. In addition to the dynamite, other drug labs were raided, resulting in the seizure of nearly finished meth and various substances and precursors. The drugs and materials were destroyed on-site, with an estimated value of over $30 million.
