"Mass Abduction: Gunmen Target State Police Officers in Chiapas, Mexico"

Fourteen state police officers were abducted by armed men in the Mexican state of Chiapas. The officers, who were traveling in a personnel transport truck, were intercepted by gunmen on the highway between Ocozocoautla and Tuxtla Gutierrez. The women in the vehicle were released, while the men were taken away. The incident has prompted a heavy deployment of federal and local forces in the area.
