Indian Student Jailed in UK for Carrying Drunk Woman to Flat and Raping Her

Indian student Preet Vikal has been sentenced to six years and nine months in a young offenders' institution for carrying an "intoxicated" woman home to rape her in Cardiff city centre. The woman was separated from her friends and was later seen on CCTV being carried by Vikal, who then took her to a property in the North Road area where he raped her. Vikal admitted rape and will serve two thirds of his sentence in custody and the remainder on licence.
