"Gaming Executive Sentenced to Death for Poisoning Netflix Producer in China"

A former executive at Yoozoo Games, Xu Yao, was sentenced to death for poisoning the company's founder, Lin Qi, in a dispute over business management. Lin, who was also an executive producer on the Netflix series "The Three-Body Problem," died after being poisoned with pu-erh tea. Four others were sickened but survived after Xu poisoned beverages in the office. Yoozoo Games owns the film rights to the trilogy and had granted Netflix the right to produce an adaptation.
