Fatal stabbing at Lisbon Ismaili Muslim center leaves two dead.

Two women were killed and one person was wounded in a knife attack at the Ismaili Centre in Lisbon, Portugal, believed to have been carried out by an Afghan refugee. The alleged attacker was shot by police and arrested. Ismailis are a minority within Shia Islam whose members have been attacked by extremist groups in countries such as Pakistan. The Ismaili community in Portugal is one of the largest in continental Europe, numbering thousands, including many who fled Mozambique during its civil war.
