Family of Dead British-Pakistani Girl Breaks Silence with Video Statement

The stepmother of a 10-year-old British-Pakistani girl found dead in her Woking home last month released a video message claiming that their family is in hiding due to fear of torture by Pakistani police. Beenish Batool, the stepmother, stated that they are willing to cooperate with UK authorities but are unable to leave their homes due to safety concerns. She also alleged that the police in Pakistan were harassing their extended family. However, the Jhelum police chief denied these allegations. The girl's death is being investigated as she was found to have suffered multiple and extensive injuries.
