Deadly Shooting at Chisinau Airport: Gunman Apprehended

A foreign national who was denied entry into Moldova shot and killed two people at Chisinau International Airport before being detained by police. The gunman, who had arrived from Turkey, used a firearm against border guards and seized a gun from a police officer before opening fire. Flights were temporarily delayed but have since resumed. Moldova, a country seeking to join the European Union, is located between Romania and Ukraine.
