Crocodiles in Australia suspected of eating missing fisherman's remains

A search and rescue operation for a missing fisherman in a national park in Queensland, Australia, was called off after human remains were found inside two crocodiles that were euthanized during the investigation. The 65-year-old man from Laura, Australia, went missing on a fishing trip in the Kennedy River at Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park. Crocodile attacks are rare but not unheard of in Australia, with 17 non-fatal and eight fatal attacks recorded between 1985 and 2016.
