The RCMP has completed a thorough search of the area and is collecting relevant video footage. Nijjar's son claims his father had regular meetings with Canadian Security Intelligence Service officers. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has accused the Indian government of being behind the killing, which India has denied. Additionally, a man has been arrested for vandalizing Hindu temples in Surrey, with posters linking the incident to Nijjar's assassination.
